If you find yourself traversing the stunning landscapes of Burgos in Surigao del Norte, a stop at North Dirty Kitchen is not just an option; it’s a delightful necessity. Nestled along an unnamed road, this charming café combines tantalizing cuisine with breathtaking views, creating an inviting atmosphere that makes it a true gem among local eateries.

North Dirty Kitchen specializes in a diverse menu that showcases fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, ensuring that each dish bursts with flavor. Customers cannot stop raving about the "Thai Basil Pork," which has been described as one of the best they’ve ever had. Others recommend the "Big Dirty Surfer’s Plate," a hearty offering that celebrates the essence of Filipino cuisine. Add to that their exquisite Spanish lattes, and you have the perfect accompaniment to your meal, making every sip a little slice of heaven.

But what truly sets North Dirty Kitchen apart is its location. Picture yourself sitting with the clear blue ocean stretching infinitely before you, framed by swaying palm trees. The natural beauty of the landscape enriches every bite, transforming a simple coffee break into an unforgettable experience. One enthusiastic customer, Wayne Gibson, captures this sentiment perfectly with his note of how this café is worth a journey from far and wide just for a taste of both the food and the view.

While the menu and atmosphere shine, some patrons have pointed out that the seating arrangement—consisting of wooden benches and high tables—might not provide the utmost comfort for extended visits. However, many insist that the incredible scenery and delightful staff more than compensate for any minor inconveniences. The service at North Dirty Kitchen is consistently praised as friendly and attentive, making you feel warmly welcomed amidst the breathtaking surroundings.

As you savor their delicious offerings and soak up the atmosphere, you might find yourself daydreaming about your next visit to this lovely café. Whether you’re looking for a lunch stop during your adventures or a serene place to unwind while watching the sunset, North Dirty Kitchen is a must-visit destination that captures the spirit of Burgos.

Outstanding! The incredible view is one thing, but the sandwich and Spanish latte I tried were beyond delicious! I would and WILL literally make the journey from GL just to visit here again. I’m so happy to have found this place!

North Dirty Kitchen is a spot where the views truly steal the show. While the food is tasty and the coffee is great, you're definitely paying more for the breathtaking scenery than for the meal itself. The service is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The main drawback is the seating. The wooden benches and high tables are quite uncomfortable, and the overall setup doesn't really feel designed for a relaxed, long stay. It's a fantastic place to enjoy a great coffee and the stunning view, but maybe not the best for a long, leisurely meal.

This place is a must in Siargao. If you go north, don't skip it. Everything is so fresh, and baked/cooked with love. The view is amazing. A great pit stop, or place to eat/drink the afternoon away. I've been here many times and never left disappointed, only happy and very satisfied with my decision making.

North Dirty Kitchen is at a new location (in the spot that was previously the Jungle Cafe), a 3 min drive from its old location. We drove the steep dirt hill to get there for a late lunch, and were greeted by a lovely staff. We sat with an amazing view of the ocean. We had the best Thai basil pork I’ve ever had in my life. We also ordered the Big Dirty Surfer’s plate which was a 9/10. We finished the meal with a homemade chocolate chunk cookie that was so delicious, we ordered 4 more to-go. The dark chocolate banana bread was also great, but the cookies are to-die-for.

If you are going up north in siargao this is a must place to eat. Located on a hill you get amazing views. Food wise home made breads, home made sausages good coffee all you need after surfing or just biking around. Will be back for sure

North Dirty Kitchen (previously: Jungle Cafe) opened in September 2024. we discovered it on our north Island Scooter Tour. It is a little hassle to get up here with a scooter evening rained. So park your scooter down and walk up. You will be rewarded by great view over the ocean and and even greater food selection. We tried 2 main dishes and a freshly baked dessert. A must try 10/10
